I have been fundraising for the BC Children's Hospital Foundation since 2015.
The Foundation's mission inspired me to help, however I could.
I have suffered from bowel disease since I was a child. After the first eight years of my life, in Germany, I came to Canada physically disadvantaged. When I arrived I was shocked at the incredible warmth of the community, who helped me quickly integrate.
We, a few friends, started by growing and selling plants, as well as books and other household items, at various events and door-to-door.

I am now raising funds by selling reusable shopping bags I designed. I'll be selling them to local shops, and anyone else interested.
